10 things i love about my family
- how often my mom and sister cook
- they’re pretty accepting (still working on that unfortunately
- they know how hard i’ve had it lately (babysitting, working, not going to school) so they treat me to little things like pedicures and new books and stuff
- they try to take an interest in things i like
- my mom always lets a friend sleep over if they need a place to stay, regardless of how crowded it is here
- we never really argue
- we stay out of each others’ personal space
- my parents are a lot more relaxed than other peoples’ parents (aka they let me get away with stuff because i’m not a child anymore)
- without my parents and older siblings keeping me away from the radio and other crap, i wouldn’t be listening to the music i do today
- they don’t care how often i say fuck
